Beantown Baby Diaper Bank was founded in August 2018 by Rachel Segaloff, a mom of 2 and passionate diaper need advocate. Since 2012, Rachel has raised over 150,000 diapers to support local families in need.
Where do the donated diapers go?
Beantown Baby Diaper Bank provides diapers to Diaper Depot in Waltham, the Lexington Food Pantry, and any other organizations or groups as needed (i.e. furloughed government employees’ families). Individual requests for diapers are not accepted at this time; for organizational requests, please contact Beantown Baby Diaper Bank directly.
Accepted disposable diaper donations include open packages, loose diapers, pull-ups and swim diapers. If you would like to donate, a drop-box is located at Stop & Shop, 36 Bedford St, Lexington. You may also email email@example.com if you have diapers to drop-off.
I want to run a diaper drive! Where do I start?
First, thank you!! Beantown Baby can provide a draft flyer for you to personalize for your organization. They typically run for 1-2 weeks or are associated with a specific event (i.e. holiday party). Once the drive is complete, you may contact Rachel at firstname.lastname@example.org who will coordinate pick-up/drop-off.
